You see, I got back to Manila but after a week, I had to go back to Baguio again to help my aunt in the preparation of her house blessing. Though this time, I was with my cousin. We decided to do what tourists do, visit a famous tourist spot and take pictures. I then suggested that we dropped by at Mines View Park.
The next day, I decided to explore Baguio alone starting off with lunch at Oh My Gulay restaurant. This restaurant is located at the top floor of one of the old buildings along Session Road. They are said to be serving dishes made from fresh and organic ingredients hence the name of the restaurant. After climbing a flight of stairs, I was surprised to see the very artistic interior of the restaurant.
After lunch, I decided to walk my way to the burnham park since my amateur photographer self is itching to take some pictures of the beautiful flowers there.
I got tired of strolling around the park so I decided to get back to session road and have some sweets and coffee at Beanstalk Cafe.
The smores cupcake was too sweet but the cafe mocha and blueberry cheescake cup was good. If not only because of the too noisy koreans hanging out at the cafe, I might consider coming back there. Before the end of the day, my aunt called and told me to meet her at SM Baguio so that's how when my Alone time ended.
I resigned from BonChon last november and so I was on a job hunting mode. I had an interview for an HR position in Wilcon builders one friday and after that, I immediately decided to visit my relatives in Baguio. The next day, I just found myself traveling in a bus alone on my way to Baguio city. Well who can blame, I was actually nursing a bit of a broken heart that time.
I was also happy to see my two younger cousins and my aunt. Sunday, we all went to visit the site where they shot the scenes of the TV drama Forevermore, yes it's the now famous La Presa. This area is almost at the top of the mountains so there are times that it can be very foggy. But then I really like the view of the green mountains partnered with the cold weather, it was just comforting.
Here's a picture with my youngest cousin Khalil :)
After that, we decided to have some snacks at the Cafe in the sky. Just look at the fog in most of our pictures!
We then proceeded to the Christmas Village in Camp John Hay. I was really excited to experience the fake snow which turned out to be bubbles. But it was fun and the christmas designs in the area were made from recycled materials. But most of all, I was experienced for my first time fake snow experience lol.

And then came the fake snow, which turned out to be bubbles! But then we got so caught up with excitement, both adults and kids alike.
And then the night came.
After accompanying my cousin on a birthday party one sunday afternoon, we decided to try this new cafe in Eastwood city serving hot pies. This place is located just in front of Richmonde Hotel Eastwood.
Upon entering the cafe, you will immediately see these displays of different kinds of pies.
My cousin and I decided to try some pies filled with chicken and mushroom and also the other sweet pies. I love the butterscotch flavored sweet pie! Actually I was hoping to try their carrot cake but then it was out of stock during that time. Their hot coffees are also good! We tried their best seller, flat white and a cup of hot cappuccino for my cousin.
While sipping their hot coffee, who wouldn't love to sit at these cute, stylish chairs.
So pie lovers out there! Try to visit pie face now :) I think they also have a branch in SM Mall of asia.
