Fort Santiago & MV Logos Hope tour

Yesterday, Moneth and I decided to go on a half day tour in Manila. It's funny to admit but we've been working in Comelec for 9 months now, and we were only able to visit Fort Santiago just yesterday! LOL Considering that our office building "Palacio Del Gobernador" is just across the Fort Santiago :p.

It was actually my second time going there in Fort Santiago. The first time was during a field trip tour when I was in high school. Yes, it's been a long time and I noticed a lot of changes there. Fort Santiago is more modernized now and they made it more suitable for the tourists.

That's me in a tunnel leading to a small chapel outside. Well, the photo did look like a bit of the old times. Must be because of the background^^

We left Fort Santiago at about past 4 pm and we took a lot of pictures hehe..kinda obvious right? Then we went to Pier 15 to go to the Floating Bookfair, The MV Logos Hope.

MV Logos hope carries about 5,000 book titles and the book prices are cheap! You can get books for only about a hundred pesos. The volunteer staffs are very helpful and nice too. All the staffs have different nationalities but they seem to be working harmoniously with each other.

Here are some photos we took inside the MV Logos Hope

I had so much fun yesterday! Never mind that my feet hurts after walking a lot hehe. This is definitely one of the best weekends I've ever spent.  ^_^
