Day 5 - October 22, 2012 Monday
Our agenda for that day was to go shopping for souvenirs and pasalubongs for our family and for my office mates. My cousin suggested that we go to Bugis junction since the goods there were cheaper. We took the train from Simei MRT to Bugis station. Before going around, we decided to have breakfast and tried the famous Singaporean breakfast, the Kaya Toast. Lucky there's a Yakun Kaya toast branch near the Bugis MRT station. I loved the Kaya toast and their coffee was good too!
After breakfast, we proceeded shopping at Bugis street and stayed there for some hours.
Day 6 - October 23, 2012 Tuesday
Our last day in Singapore :( Our flight will leave at about past 2 in the afternoon and my cousin have work that day so she said that she will just meet us during lunch time at the airport. Guess what? She was late as usual hehehe. Here are some photos of Changi terminal 2
Day 4 - October 21, 2012 Sunday
Tita Orett and I woke up early, ate some sandwiches for our breakfast and checked out of the hotel. We decided to try walking to Berjaya Times Square where our bus will be leaving from. We were confused where to start walking so we decided to ask a young man passerby for directions who turned out to be a Pinoy again. I think he was about my age and he was nice to accompany us walking to Berjaya and he even helped us carrying our bags. We were able to take an earlier bus trip from Kuala Lumpur so my cousin was surprised when we arrived at their condo an hour earlier than she expected. Later that afternoon, since my cousin Ite Yzel do not have work during sundays so she accompanied us and we went to Gardens by the Bay first.

After that, we walked to Marina bay sands and entered the Marina bay mall to kill some time, waiting for the night to come so that we can see the Marina bay area all lit up at night.

Finally night came so we went to the famous Helix bridge :)
We then continued our walk to the Merlion Park so from the Helix bridge, we passed by the Floating stadium, Esplanade mall and fullerton hotel
After that, We were hungry and decided to eat dinner at Thai express restaurant just outside the Esplanade mall. My cousin's treat of course :)) After dinner, we took the train and went home. I'm just so happy that I was able to spend some time with my cousin, I missed her so much!
DAY 3 - Kuala Lumpur
On the night of October 19, we took the midnight bus trip from Singapore to Kuala Lumpur. We rode the starmart bus from the Golden mile complex in SG. To get to Golden mile, we took the train from Simei, got off at Paya Lebar station and transferred to the Circle Line (yellow) and got off at Nicoll highway station, crossed the highway through the overpass then turned right.
We arrived in Kuala Lumpur at about 4:40 am, earlier than our expected arrival. We waited for my aunt and uncle who rode the other starmart bus. It was a bit cold in Kuala Lumpur during early morning. When they arrived, we accompanied them to their transient house, rested for awhile while waiting for the sun to come up then we all left to go to Batu Caves.
After that, Tita Orett and I separated from their group and went to Pacific Regency Suites to check in. Our hotel was easy to find since it is located just in front the KL Tower. We were surprised that one of the Front Office staff of the hotel is a Filipino because he doesn't look like one but he really is. So he gave us a room which have a better view :)

We rested for awhile and ate some snacks in the hotel room then left at about past 3 pm to go to Merdeka Square. So we walked from the hotel to Raja Chulan train station, got off at Bukit Nanas then walked to Dang Wangi station since both stations are within walking distance. From there, we took the train and got off at Masjid Jamek station. Going around Kuala Lumpur is a bit confusing, we always have to stop for awhile, look at the map and discuss where should we should head to unlike in Singapore where everything is organized. You can see lots of signs and you will totally not get lost. It also helps that people there in SG speaks english though some people in Malaysia also can speak decent english. We were nearing Merdeka Square but the area going there was a bit scary and it was also about to rain so we decided not to proceed there.

We decided to head to Central market to buy some souvenirs and ate dinner there as well. Early evening, we went back to Masjid Majek station and took the train to KLCC to see the famous Petronas twin towers at night. Ever since I was young and still at school, I saw this article about the Petronas towers in an educational journal and I was amazed. That's why seeing it in person was a dream come true for me. The Petronas towers looks majestic by night since it was totally light up. But, it's too hard to take a photo with the whole towers as your background LOL. There were so many tourists there trying their best to find the right position or angle hehe. After that, my aunt and I decided to go back to the hotel since both of us were so tired with all that walking we did.

Last thursday, My aunt and I left for our Singapore trip. We arrived there in Changi airport terminal 2 at about 6 pm and I was kind of surprised that it was still bright outside. Later on, I noticed that darkness sets in on Singapore at about past 7 in the evening. So we are supposed to stay at my cousin's apartment in Simei so we had to wait for her at airport. My cousin, ite yzel arrived at about 6:40 pm then we took a cab to their condo.

DAY 2 -October 19, Friday
The next day, my aunt and I went to Universal Studios Singapore. We took the train from Simei, Got off at Outram park station then transferred to the Northeast line (purple) to continue our journey to Harbourfront station. From there on vivo city mall 3rd floor, we rode the Sentosa express to get to Sentosa island where Universal studios is located. We had fun touring around USS and we took a lot of pictures :) We decided not to try the rides for the lines are too long and it also rained that time. Yeah bummer.
