I watched HP 7 movie last sunday with my cousin Ate Kath and her friend. The movie is so good and it did reach my expectations. I really enjoyed watching the movie. The acting was great too specifically Emma Watson and Rupert Grint. Emma really improved in this one compared to the previous HP movies.
In the movie, they included the scene where Hermione charmed her parents so that they will forget her existence in their lives. It was a nice idea to show that but I was expecting that they'll show more of harry's parting with the Dursley's and Dudley showing his concern for his cousin. I love how they showed the 7 Potters but they used Hedwig as the give away on how the death eaters found out who the real harry is, instead of the disarming spell that he always uses. I also just noticed that the actress playing Fleur delacour is also the girl who portrayed Eva in the season 4 of Gossip girl. The wedding scene of Bill and Fleur was short and also I didn't see Viktor Krum there. Harry also came to the wedding as himself instead of using polyjuice potion as a disguise which was written in the book.
I really love the charmed beaded bag of Hermione! How I wish it's possible to have one like that in real life lol. By the way, is it weird that I find Dobby cute? I was surprised when he showed up with Kreacher when they brought Mundungus to Harry as per his orders. Maybe they wanted to establish Dobby more since he'll be dying in the end. Dobby was so adorable when he kept on talking and not giving kreacher the chance to talk. Also when he saw Ron, he randomly just shook ron's had while cutely saying "Oh Mr. Weasly".
The scene where Harry, ron and hermione went to the Ministry of Magic was nice. The way on how the witches and wizards enter the Ministry was kind of disgusting but funny. Yeah, they have to flush their selves in through the toilet haha. The sudden kiss of Mrs. Cattermole to Ron (he was in disguise as her husband thru polyjuice potion) was so epic. A lot of people inside the cinema laughed at that scene. Also the scene when Ron already left and harry saw how sad Hermione is that he just randomly danced with her was so funny. And yes, that wasn't included in the book so I think the director just added that scene. I also love Ron's scene when he went back to them and he was talking about the "Ball of light thing in his heart" haha. He also kept on agreeing to whatever Hermione says to appease her anger with him. Ooops may I just add that Bathilda Bagshot was so scary and I kind of screamed in surprise because of the snake (even though I was already expecting that lol).
The way the tale of the three brothers was presented in the movie is so nice. I really love that part. Emma's acting as hermione in the scene where she was being tortured by Bellatrix was so good and convincing. Her screams made me feel as if I was also in pain. I was kind of expecting that they will end the movie where Dobby died and Voldemort taking the Elder wand from Dumbledore's tomb. I think that's why I didn't feel as if the movie was cut short. I'm really excited now to watch the next part though it is kind of sad too since that will be the last movie. I'm gonna miss Harry potter :(
Here are some picture scenes from the movie:
the seven potters
the wedding scene
Dumbledore's last will scene
Kreacher and dobby taking Mundugus to Harry
Dobby coming to save Harry and his friends
their escape
I just finished reading this one last night and it was nice. It's not exactly what I can say "one of my favorites" but it was entertaining enough. The story did intrigued me so I decided to read it. Aside from romance novels, I'm also into these mysterious and magical type of stories.
This novel kind of reminded me of Harry potter because of the boarding school setting type as well as the magical powers the adepts have. The story was action-packed and I was so curious about the real job of Lily's parents. I'm wondering what are the other things that they're hiding from her. I bet there'll be more secrets exposed in the next book so I'll definitely wait for that.
Here's the teaser I got from amazon.com:
New Girl.
New School.
Old Evil.
From the author of the Chicagoland Vampires novels.
A new series about a boarding school filled with something worse than homework.
Lily's parents have sent her to a fancy boarding school in Chicago filled with the ultra-rich. If that wasn't bad enough, she's hearing and seeing bizarre things on St. Sophie's creepy campus. Her roommate, Scout, keeps her sane, but keeps disappearing at night. When one day Lily finds Scout running from real-life monsters, she learns the hard way that Scout is involved in a splinter group of rebel teens.
They protect Chicago from demons, vamps, and dark magic users. It's too bad Lily doesn't have powers of her own to help. At least, none that she's discovered yet...
Tita Sion bought me two bottles of orly nail polish from the US.
And I so love it! It's easy to apply on the nails and the colors are so nice.
This brand is way much better than our local brands of nail polishes.
Just wanna add this picture...Look what I found on the box of my frosties cereals.
Ella:
I know I am not a pretty girl since I was small. My wife (Selina) and Hebe are more beautiful than me. But I know that I am super cute. So I secure my position in the “cute group”. No one can kick me out. At the same time, I know that I have the talent to make others happy. I think God has given me this ability and I like this gift.
I become a well-known actress after I joined S.H.E. I can accept people calling me a star but I continue my way of living. I would do something that I would have done in my daily life after work. What are those things? I don’t know. If I am aware of it, it is not the things that I would do in daily life! hehehe You get what I mean?
The following content is from a blog, which wrote down something about me. (The blogger’s word, reported by Ella are in quotation mark) I would like to respond to it. I admit that his story is real. He came to fix my car.
“Our appointment is in the underground carpark. She said the lamp is not functioning. As I am professional, I bought the lamp to the carpark and fixed it directly. When my client walked out from the lift, I found that she is Ella, the cutest one in S.H.E! I thought superstar would wear make-up when they go out…” Yes, I did not wear make-up and I even wore a short. And I discover that you (the blogger) looked amazed. “She is nice and wants to help.” It is because you were busy carrying a bucket of water, changing the wire and the lamp. If the bucket was knocked over and spoiled the wire, you would have to fix the car again. “She has to use the car right after I fixed it and she asked me whether I need a ride. Oh my god! She drove me out until I reached my car. I felt so shy! She is very nice!” But you looked so calm and have no facial expression all along. You have so many monologs in your heart! “But her driving skill is not that good. The gear-changing is not smooth. The car halted a bit when she starts the car.” Hm… No. It is beacuse I forgot that the gear stopped at BACK so the car halted a bit. It is not like I was afraid and I halted. My driving skill is great! I am the King of Car! This is what I read on the blog.
Once I have holiday and I hanged out with my friends in Pingdong. We sat in the railway station and chatted. A train arrived and a native couple got off. They asked me the direction of the exit and I told them. The husband asked me the location of a hospital. “That is far.” I thought. His pregnant wife had a huge tummy that she looked ready to give birth in the next minute. They planned to ride a taxi. But believe me, as a local resident, I know it is impossible to find a taxi there. Let me give you a ride! Then they walked with me to my home and I drove them to the hospital. When we arrived, they asked me with a blush whether I am Ella from S.H.E. “Oh can you take a photo with us for memory?” they asked. I agreed. Later, I knew that they came to find their relatives in Pingdong. They kept saying thank you to me. If they like Pingdong more because of this incident, I would be happy. I hope their baby would be healthy and happy. This is nothing special for me. This is things that I would have done. Whenever I hear my friends saying “Um… I’ve thought about…. but….um” They do not act because they are afraid that their passion would frighten others. If this is something that you would have done, why you have to care about what others think? The worst case is being rejected. According to my experience, maybe they are a bit nervous at first, they feel happy to know that there are people who share the same thinking with them - to do what they would have done. I wish more people recognize it and go ahead to do what you would have done.

Keyword: Iron Stomach
Female Lead: Hebe
Iron-stomach woman - Madam XiBi’s confession after over-indulgence in food and drinks.
“Who doesn’t like to binge on good stuff? I am no exception of course. Who doesn’t want to have a healthy body and live up to a hundred years? I would want that of course. But these are 2 conflicting issues! Self-proclaimed as one with an ‘iron-stomach’, regardless cold or raw, I want all my food to be spicy! My stomach can take soup directly from the Ma-La Spicy hotpot, but with a lack of care, I actually contracted Gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD) (based on online translator). The gastric juices caused my stomach no longer able to take in spicy stuff and even resulted in me no longer being able to drink anything with caffeine. Wah! This is just ‘fantastic’! I, being a caffeine-fanatic, suddenly find that life has almost lost its meaning for me!”

Kath624:
Wow. Didn’t know that hebe of S.H.E also have GERD. Yeah I have GERD (Gastroesophageal reflux disease) too. I was diagnosed last february of this year when I started becoming so acidic and I’ve been experiencing heartburns especially at night. First, I noticed something was wrong when I felt some kind of pain on my chest which turned out to be heartburn. There was also a time when I wasn’t able to fall asleep because I felt so hungry even after eating biscuits and stuff. I had to take antacids after meals the next day. My breathing pattern also changed and I became so stressed worrying about my health. If hebe got eat it because of eating too much spicy food, maybe I got it from there too. I remember that before I got GERD, I became so obsessed with Lucky me Jjampong. I loved the taste and it’s spiciness.
My gastroenterologist told me to take omeprazole for 2 weeks. I’ve been okay and I haven’t seen her since. Haha stubborn me. So now, I do not drink any soda or carbonated drinks and anything with caffeine. But I can’t give up chocolates lol and I do drink iced tea but rarely now. I also refrain myself from eating spicy foods, citrus fruits and also from taking mefenamic acid. Whenever I feel any pain, I just take paracetamol haha poor me :(
So guys, always take care of your stomach. :D
I tend to cover it up. I'm a bit secretive.
INTRO
Pangarap ka sa bawat sandali, araw-gabi
'Di mapakali, anong dapat kong gawin upang makapiling
REFRAIN
Ngunit ngayong alam kong may mahal ka nang iba
CHORUS
At kahit na ano namang mangyari
Ikaw pa rin naman ang nagmamay-ari
Ng puso kong ito'y laan lamang sa 'yo
'Di baleng maghintay at mangulila
Kahit alam namang walang pag-asa
Ang puso kong ito'y 'di pamimigay
Mahiwaga ang pag-ibig mo sa puso ko
Matatamis na pagtitinginan nating dalawa
[Repeat REFRAIN]

I just love this book. The story kind of reminds me of Julia Robert’s movie “Notting hill” though in this novel, it’s the guy who is the famous one.
It’s about a lawyer named Taylor Donovan who’s really good at her job. Her typical world turned upside down when she was asked by her boss to help the famous hollywood actor, Jason Andrews. In his next movie, he’ll be portraying a lawyer that’s why he needed help on how he can act almost like a real one. But it all started on the wrong foot. Jason blew off their scheduled meeting twice and that’s why Taylor was so pissed off with him. Being a lawyer, she doesn’t care whether he’s a famous actor or the fact that people called him “the sexiest man alive”.
Jason became so intrigued with her condescending attitude to him that he keeps on coming onto her. Eventually they got along but Jason had a hard time getting Taylor to open up her feelings for him. Even though they already finished their lawyer-ish lessons, Jason keeps on contacting Taylor and he also asked a favor from a fellow actress to make her jealous. But it turned out the other way since Jason’s rival in showbiz, Scott, found out that Taylor is Jason’s mystery girl so he asked her for a date. Jason got jealous of course when he found out. Later on, Taylor had a minor car accident where in she first called Scott but he kind of blew her off saying that he can’t go since he’s currently filming. Then surprisingly, Jason appeared at the hospital and assured the doctor that he’ll keep watch of her. Taylor was touched when she found out that Jason just left filming as soon as he heard that Taylor was in the hospital. And as the rest goes, they did fell in love. They kind of get into an argument after confessing each other’s feelings since Taylor was offered a partnership but she have to be based in Chicago. In the end, Taylor decided to give up the offer to stay with Jason when she realized that he’s really worth it.
I really like the part when Taylor’s friends from Chicago visited her then Jason just almost barged in at Taylor’s home demanding where she’d been and why she’s not picking his calls. I can just imagine the shocked faces of her friends LOL. If that was me I’ll be so surprised too. Also the ending was so good for it seems that Taylor got to accept his life being always in the limelight.
This is definitely a good read so if you’re looking for a nice romantic novel, pick this one please :)

At the first few episodes, this drama is a bit boring but it got better afterwards. I’m actually not a fan of Lee min ho in Boys over flowers. I don’t know why but I’ve never liked BOF but in this drama, I became a fan of Lee min ho. He’s just so handsome here and so cool. I think the character he played here really suited him. I just swoon whenever min ho smiles :) Min ho seems matured here, he’s playing a character which I think is older than his real age. He is actually at the same age as me. As for Son ye jin, I’m familiar with her since I’ve watched her movies “The classic” and “a moment to remember”. I find her face really pretty and she’s such a good actress.
What I really like about this drama is the fact that the main leads are exact opposites. Opposite when it comes to their personalities and way of life. Maybe that’s the reason this drama became titled as perfect match. First, they became good friends then afterwards, they fell in love with each other. The best scene in this drama for me was when lee min ho’s character said game over. That was just so intense. Overall this drama is worth watching. Honestly, I’m re-watching it these past few days lol. :) By the way, Yoon Eun Hye (the female lead in Princess hours, Coffee prince) made a cameo appearance in this drama. She played as an ex-gf of min ho’s character whom they accidentally met at the cinema.
Abs-cbn will be airing this drama starting this monday at a late timeslot. They will air it after Kristine series.

Reasons why you should watch this drama:
1. Ella Chen and Jerry Yan are the main leads
2. Ella is just so cute in this drama and I like her acting here than in hana kimi (but I still love hana kimi )
3. Jerry’s character in this drama will make you want to have a guy like him.
4. Jerry is just so handsome!
5. In most dramas, the female lead is commonly the one chasing the male lead but in this drama, it’s the guy who is so in love with the girl.
6. You’ll get to see a different side of Jerry Yan (he can be funny too)
7. The relationship of ella’s character here with her sister is so awesome. I really love their sisterly interactions.
8. The kissing scene between Ella and Jerry is one of the longest and sweetest kissing scenes that I’ve watched in all asian dramas.
9. I so love it when Jerry’s character does everything for Ella. He’s just so sweet :) and I also love it when Jerry gets jealous.
10. The chemistry between Jerry and Ella in this drama is surprisingly good!
I had so much fun these past few 10 days. My aunt from the US arrived as well as my relatives from Davao city and Baguio. It’s been a long time since our family became complete. Well, not totally complete since my mother is in Saudi, my cousin Krizel is in Singapore while my uncle, tito nat is in UAE. But at least only 3 members were missing right? First, we all went to hear a mass at the Antipolo church then went to SM Marikina afterwards.
We also went swimming at Montalban since my youngest cousin Khalil insisted that we go there. One of the bonding sessions I had with my cousins was to bake 500 choco macaroons and about a hundred plus of orange chiffon and chocolate moist cupcakes. My hand got sore because of too much scooping but still, I had fun. Those sweets were used at Lola Miniang’s birthday celebration. Last sunday, we also had a party here in the house. A late celebration for Tita teng’s 50th birthday and also for Tita sion’s arrival here in the Philippines. Our family took pictures wearing matching t-shirts. It was so cute :)
My relatives left yesterday but I miss them already. It’s so quiet now here in our house. I miss them so much and I hope that on our next reunion, we will be really complete. I woke up late yesterday so I wasn’t able to bid them goodbye but as soon as I woke up, I saw that my cousin tin2 posted a farewell note at my room. That was just so sweet of her. ‘
til my next journal entry,
Kath :)
