I just love this book. The story kind of reminds me of Julia Robert’s movie “Notting hill” though in this novel, it’s the guy who is the famous one.
It’s about a lawyer named Taylor Donovan who’s really good at her job. Her typical world turned upside down when she was asked by her boss to help the famous hollywood actor, Jason Andrews. In his next movie, he’ll be portraying a lawyer that’s why he needed help on how he can act almost like a real one. But it all started on the wrong foot. Jason blew off their scheduled meeting twice and that’s why Taylor was so pissed off with him. Being a lawyer, she doesn’t care whether he’s a famous actor or the fact that people called him “the sexiest man alive”.
Jason became so intrigued with her condescending attitude to him that he keeps on coming onto her. Eventually they got along but Jason had a hard time getting Taylor to open up her feelings for him. Even though they already finished their lawyer-ish lessons, Jason keeps on contacting Taylor and he also asked a favor from a fellow actress to make her jealous. But it turned out the other way since Jason’s rival in showbiz, Scott, found out that Taylor is Jason’s mystery girl so he asked her for a date. Jason got jealous of course when he found out. Later on, Taylor had a minor car accident where in she first called Scott but he kind of blew her off saying that he can’t go since he’s currently filming. Then surprisingly, Jason appeared at the hospital and assured the doctor that he’ll keep watch of her. Taylor was touched when she found out that Jason just left filming as soon as he heard that Taylor was in the hospital. And as the rest goes, they did fell in love. They kind of get into an argument after confessing each other’s feelings since Taylor was offered a partnership but she have to be based in Chicago. In the end, Taylor decided to give up the offer to stay with Jason when she realized that he’s really worth it.
I really like the part when Taylor’s friends from Chicago visited her then Jason just almost barged in at Taylor’s home demanding where she’d been and why she’s not picking his calls. I can just imagine the shocked faces of her friends LOL. If that was me I’ll be so surprised too. Also the ending was so good for it seems that Taylor got to accept his life being always in the limelight.
This is definitely a good read so if you’re looking for a nice romantic novel, pick this one please :)

At the first few episodes, this drama is a bit boring but it got better afterwards. I’m actually not a fan of Lee min ho in Boys over flowers. I don’t know why but I’ve never liked BOF but in this drama, I became a fan of Lee min ho. He’s just so handsome here and so cool. I think the character he played here really suited him. I just swoon whenever min ho smiles :) Min ho seems matured here, he’s playing a character which I think is older than his real age. He is actually at the same age as me. As for Son ye jin, I’m familiar with her since I’ve watched her movies “The classic” and “a moment to remember”. I find her face really pretty and she’s such a good actress.
What I really like about this drama is the fact that the main leads are exact opposites. Opposite when it comes to their personalities and way of life. Maybe that’s the reason this drama became titled as perfect match. First, they became good friends then afterwards, they fell in love with each other. The best scene in this drama for me was when lee min ho’s character said game over. That was just so intense. Overall this drama is worth watching. Honestly, I’m re-watching it these past few days lol. :) By the way, Yoon Eun Hye (the female lead in Princess hours, Coffee prince) made a cameo appearance in this drama. She played as an ex-gf of min ho’s character whom they accidentally met at the cinema.
Abs-cbn will be airing this drama starting this monday at a late timeslot. They will air it after Kristine series.

Reasons why you should watch this drama:
1. Ella Chen and Jerry Yan are the main leads
2. Ella is just so cute in this drama and I like her acting here than in hana kimi (but I still love hana kimi )
3. Jerry’s character in this drama will make you want to have a guy like him.
4. Jerry is just so handsome!
5. In most dramas, the female lead is commonly the one chasing the male lead but in this drama, it’s the guy who is so in love with the girl.
6. You’ll get to see a different side of Jerry Yan (he can be funny too)
7. The relationship of ella’s character here with her sister is so awesome. I really love their sisterly interactions.
8. The kissing scene between Ella and Jerry is one of the longest and sweetest kissing scenes that I’ve watched in all asian dramas.
9. I so love it when Jerry’s character does everything for Ella. He’s just so sweet :) and I also love it when Jerry gets jealous.
10. The chemistry between Jerry and Ella in this drama is surprisingly good!
I had so much fun these past few 10 days. My aunt from the US arrived as well as my relatives from Davao city and Baguio. It’s been a long time since our family became complete. Well, not totally complete since my mother is in Saudi, my cousin Krizel is in Singapore while my uncle, tito nat is in UAE. But at least only 3 members were missing right? First, we all went to hear a mass at the Antipolo church then went to SM Marikina afterwards.
We also went swimming at Montalban since my youngest cousin Khalil insisted that we go there. One of the bonding sessions I had with my cousins was to bake 500 choco macaroons and about a hundred plus of orange chiffon and chocolate moist cupcakes. My hand got sore because of too much scooping but still, I had fun. Those sweets were used at Lola Miniang’s birthday celebration. Last sunday, we also had a party here in the house. A late celebration for Tita teng’s 50th birthday and also for Tita sion’s arrival here in the Philippines. Our family took pictures wearing matching t-shirts. It was so cute :)
My relatives left yesterday but I miss them already. It’s so quiet now here in our house. I miss them so much and I hope that on our next reunion, we will be really complete. I woke up late yesterday so I wasn’t able to bid them goodbye but as soon as I woke up, I saw that my cousin tin2 posted a farewell note at my room. That was just so sweet of her. ‘
til my next journal entry,
Kath :)
