Staycation at Lime Resort Manila

For my birthday celebration this year, I wanted to try something new so I decided to go for a staycation with a close friend. While browsing through the Agoda site, I came across this newly built hotel near MOA with a perfect view of the Manila Bay. Since Lime Resort Manila is still on their soft opening, they are currently offering discounted rates. We booked one of their standard twin rooms for an overnight weekend stay.

The hotel's standard check in time is at 2 pm. Upon entering the hotel, you'll need to ride the elevator first to be able to reach their lobby at the next floor. Then you'll be greeted by this really nice designed lobby with big windows showing the view of the Manila Bay outside. Check-in was fast and the front desk attendant just asked for my valid ID to check my name in their reservation system. Then we were given our room card key then proceeded to our room at the 9th floor of the hotel.

Upon entering the room, you will find the standard amenities such as the twin beds, bathroom, television with cable, mini bar, towels, bottled water and coffee. It's obvious that the hotel room is still new and I do love the bright green and blue colors. What really amazed us though is the automatic window curtains, controllable by some buttons at the table or desk area.

After checking out the room and dropping our bags, we decided to go out and see the other facilities of the hotel. We went back to the lobby area to take some pictures.

It was about 3:30 already that time but their front desk area still seems so busy. Afterwards, we decided to go up to the penthouse to check out the infinity pool. Their infinity pool looks really inviting and you can take a swim while enjoying the view of the Manila Bay. It will definitely look more perfect come sunset time for Manila Bay is really famous for a perfect view of sunsets. They actually have a bar there beside the pool area and another really nice outdoor area where you can chill and dine if swimming is not your thing. My friend and I then decided to order some pizza and wait for the sunset.

Our ordered pizza came out a bit late due to an issue that I decided to let go since the staff sincerely apologized. Then came the famous Manila Bay sunset and we decided to hang out there until twilight. The feels and view of the place is really nice and relaxing. I'm glad that we were blessed with a perfect weather that day considering that the month of June is the start of the rainy season.

We went back to our room at  around 7 pm to rest for a bit and to prepare to go out later on. Another thing that I really liked about Lime Resort Manila is that it is located just beside the seascape village which I've been wanting to go to since last year. We decided to check out the seascape village and looked for a place to have some dinner. The place seems really lively since it was a Saturday night and we noticed that lots of families actually go there to have some seafood.

We enjoyed staying at Lime Resort Manila. Their hotel room is really nice and comfortable. We also enjoyed the infinity pool during our morning swim the next day. This is one nice option for a staycation suitable for families for the kids will surely enjoy their infinity pool. Their service though is not yet perfect and most staff seems to be struggling when dealing with many guests but I'm sure they'll improve eventually.
